Our Process

  • CONNECTION

    Through an initial phone call or email we seek to understand what you are trying to accomplish with a renovation and if  our team is uniquely suited to help you.   If we believe we can help we will schedule a site meeting.

  • SITE MEETING

    By visiting your home we learn about your project goals and see if our construction and design team can improve your life with a renovation.  We review constructability, feasibility, site layout, and answer any other questions you may have.

  • ALIGNMENT

    Based on what we learned from the site meeting we will create a preliminary scope and budget for your project to ensure resources and renovation are aligned before you proceed.

  • PRE-CONSTRUCTION

    If scope and resources align we bring in the relevant experts.  Whether it's design, engineering, or subcontractor specific feedback on anything from  plumbing to  cabinetry, we will engage with the professionals as we plan your project to meet your goals..  We believe minutes in planning saves hours in production - and we develop your plans to minimize the time your living space is unusable.

  • COST BREAKDOWN & CONSTRUCTION

    We create a  detailed cost breakdown based on the plans, specifications, and details that have been incorporated into the project during the above steps.

    We execute the plan from above and make the dream a reality.

  • CLIENT FOR LIFE

    Once your renovation is complete we remain available and it's not uncommon for us to undertake multiple remodels for the same clients - at the same or different homes over the years.

Arlen Lee is the founder and lead contractor at Lee & Co., with over 20 years of experience in the home remodeling industry. Known for his hands-on approach, Arlen personally oversees every project, ensuring thoughtful planning, expert craftsmanship, and client-focused solutions. His passion for creating personalized spaces that reflect each client's unique vision sets him apart, making Lee & Co. a trusted partner in transforming homes throughout Auburn and the greater Sacramento area.
